Irish Book Week launches October 27th-November 3rd 2018
06/09/2018
The brainchild of the Bookselling Ireland committee, this innovative partnership between
Bookselling Ireland
and
Publishing Ireland
launches this Autumn.
Associated with the
Books Are My Bag
campaign, and timed to maximise the potential of the Irish publishing schedule, the campaign message is tailored to the home market. Irish Book Week will be backed by the Booksellers Association with a full point of sale kit including free, newly designed Irish Book Week tote bags.
Irish Book Week celebrates the contribution that bookshops make to Irish culture, the economy and the revenue, and aligns with Ireland’s internationally recognised status as a country of books.
The campaign will be supported by high profile ambassadors and PR and social media campaigns.
More announcements will follow in the coming weeks as Irish booksellers, publisher and authors quickly gear up for Irish Book Week.
If you have any events already planned in, or around Irish Book Week be sure to brand them Irish Book Week to help create the feel of a nationwide festival, and attract local and national media attention.
